The Church On The Rock Ministries was founded on Sunday, June 23, 2002 in Dumfries, VA by a few faithful, God-fearing saints. Our first formal worship service was held on Sunday July 7, 2002 at the Holiday Inn Express in Dumfries, VA. In July 2003 The Church On The Rock Ministries established a fixed place for worship at 17442 Main Street, Dumfries, VA where we currently reside. Our Vision: To see the spiritually lost saved, discipled, and equipped to evangelize to the entire world. Order Of Services: Sundays- 11:00 a.m. Worship Service Every 1st Sunday Intercessory Prayer- 10:00am *3rd Sunday Communion Sunday Wednesday Nights- Issues of Life Bible Study (Adult & Youth) - 7:00pm-8:30pm The 1st Monday Night of each month - Prayer Line at 9:00pm Phone# (415) 363-0833 Pin Code #629413 Church Ministries: Dance Ministry, Hospitality Ministry, Men's Ministry, Music Ministry, Prayer Ministry, Women's Ministry and Youth Ministry How we are touching lives in the community: Annual Coat Drive (Cover Me) -The Church on the Rock Ministries puts on an annual coat drive. In 2011 we were able to give away to the community brand new and gently worn coats, shoes, and clothing for men, women, and children. Thanksgiving Food Drive (Oh Give Thanks) – Each year we prepare Thanksgiving baskets for families in need for the holidays. Food Bank (All Things In Common) - We go to the food bank once per month to purchase items for those in need in the ministry and in the community. Service with a Smile – Every 4th Sunday we ask a family at the church to cook a meal to feed the residents at the ACTS Homeless Shelter. Bible Study at ACTS Homeless Shelter (The Word on Wheels) – On the 4th Tuesday of each month we have bible study at ACTS Homeless Shelter in Dumfries, VA. Rock Steady Learning Enrichment Center Tutoring Programs – Offers free tutoring and private tutoring (donation basis) to our community.
